Accessibility Statement

A live room only works if everyone in the room can take part. This statement sets out where we stand, honestly, including what is not fixed yet.

01 Conformance status #

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We consider it partially conformant: most of the site meets the standard, and the exceptions are listed below.

02 What we have done #

  • Colour contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components.
  • Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • The page works without JavaScript: content is server-rendered and reveal animations degrade to always-visible.
  • All animation — including the marker highlights, the live poll bars and the floating hero — stops when the operating system requests reduced motion.
  • Headings follow a single logical order, landmarks are used correctly, and a skip link is the first thing in the tab order.
  • Text reflows to 320px and supports 200% zoom without loss of content or function.
  • Decorative graphics, including the QR artwork in the hero, are hidden from assistive technology.

03 Known limitations #

We are aware of the following and are working on them:

  • The customer stories carousel is scroll-and-snap based; it is keyboard operable through its previous and next buttons, but does not yet announce slide changes through a live region.
  • The logo marquee animates continuously. It pauses on hover and stops entirely under reduced-motion settings, but there is no explicit pause control.
  • Some third-party embedded content on future pages may not meet the same standard; we will note it where that applies.

04 Compatibility #

The site is tested with recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop, iOS and Android, and with VoiceOver and NVDA. It should work with any browser released in the last two years.

05 How we assess #

We combine automated checks in our build with manual keyboard and screen-reader testing on each significant change. This statement was last reviewed on 1 August 2026.
